Financial and Partner Support

Every YWAM worker, including the founder, Loren Cunningham, raises enough funds to meet his or her own financial needs. For most people in YWAM, these funds come from friends, family and churches who contribute financially. Other YWAMers rely on their own savings, part-time jobs/employment, small businesses or even–in the case of some of our older staff–pension income.  So there is no salary from YWAM.  We are all volunteers.

YWAM has purposely chosen to emphasise personal support raising as the primary means of funding for our staff. Although we recognise there are many other valid ways of financing ministry, the way we have chosen is based on biblical principles of exercising faith and trust, and has enabled us to include tens of thousands of people each year from over 130 countries in the task of fulfilling the Great Commission.

YWAM Prayer Days begin

Across time zones, YWAM workers seek God together

pray for IndiaFrom remote corners of Africa to the capital cities of Europe and beyond, thousands of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) workers around the world kicked off the new year by gathering together on January 3 for one sole purpose: to pray.

YWAM’s international chairman, Lynn Green, called all of YWAM to a monthly day of prayer to take place on the first Thursday of each month. The renewed emphasis on prayer has been eagerly anticipated in recent months, ever since it was announced at the Global Leadership Team meetings in Jeju, South Korea in September. With projections of unprecedented growth coming to YWAM, God made clear that “business as usual” had to include a renewed emphasis on praying together across time zones and cultures to hear from God as a global family and prepare for the future.

Adopt an Unreached People Group

As a center we adopt unreached people groups and we need your assistance to reach them!

What is an unreached people group?

A people group is an ethnic group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelise their own people without outside assistance. You can assist us to reach out to them by praying, giving or going.

Pray, Give, Go

We are praying and we need your prayers! Let ´s trust in the word of God.

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective! (James 5:16) Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. (Psalm 2:8) As we stand on these promises we can come to His throne with boldness and confidence to receive whatever we ask for. Give us the nations Lord!!!

All our staff depend upon the Lord as there is no central source of funds or salaries in YWAM. Every ministry must raise his own support, as must each worker. No one in YWAM receives a salary. Each worker- from the newest to the President-is responsible for his or her own basic needs. Some staff receive regular support from churches, friends or family. Others rely on God’s provision through other ways. Please consider helping us to reach the unreached peoples of Asia through monthly or annual gifts.

Again… let ´s trust in Gods Word. “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:6,7)

Please consider prayerfully to support our ministry or one of our workers.

We didn’t decide to go. Jesus told us to go and to make disciples. Let´s read Gods Word again.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18, 19, 20)

You see first those amazing words … All authority on heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus and He tells us to go and to make disciples of all nations … if we do so we will also experience the third part of this wonderful scripture … He will be with us!!! Hallelujah!!! Therefore, let’s go and do it. Millions of people are still waiting to hear the Gospel of Jesus for the first time. As long as they are not reached we have the command to go and tell them. We love to give training to people who are willing to do so. YWAM ´s saying is “To know God and to make Him known.”
